Micil Distillery is Galway’s first distillery to open its doors in over 100 years. Café Linnalla is based on the farm of Roger and Brid and uses the milk from its shorthorn cows to make its farm fresh ice cream which it serves in the café. Roger will walk with you to the farmyard where the cows and calves can be seen and will give you some information on farming in the Burren and the challenges he faces and the farming methods he has adopted to suit his farm. It is then back to Café Linnalla for a drink and a large scoop of ice cream, made fresh from the milk of the cows you have seen.
