We got married in June and could not have picked a better hotel for the reception. From the very first visit we were met with the most friendly, professional, thoughtful staff. We had Louise as our dedicated point of contact and she was absolutely incredible, she really got to know us and was there for anything we needed on the day and in the lead up. The food, service, everything was absolutely perfect on the day! The one thing all guests are saying to us after the wedding is how fabulous the hotel and staff were so thank you so much for looking after us Louise and the team at the Galway Bay Hotel ❤️

We got married on the 7th August and had our wedding reception at the Galway Bay Hotel. What can I say...where do I start? Firstly we had the most amazing wedding coordinator who made everything so easy and nothing at all was an issue. Stephen Finn you are an absolute star. In the months and weeks before the wedding he was there every step of the way for us. A wedding is probably the biggest thing you'll ever have to organize and having a great coordinator behind you is half the battle. Our guests were wowed by the rooms, the beauty of the hotel inside and out, the food and the top class service provided. There's so many things that make the Galway Bay Hotel stand out as a wedding venue and we couldn't be more happy with the choice we made. It's what dreams are made of.

Thanks to all the staff and waiters that provided outstanding service all throughout our day. A special thanks to Victoria, so good at her job, so easy to deal with and very accommodating to myself and Elaine with all the preparations. Stephen was just unbelievable all day, all the guests were saying how good he was always there to help and assist. Myself and Elaine were honestly blown away by how well he handled the day. I was at alot of weddings over the years and have never experienced such help and guidance from anywhere else he was just phenomenal. The food was the best wedding food we ever had. All our guests said the same that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding. To everyone at the Galway Bay, Thanks so much we had a perfect day and yous were all outstanding. Would highly recommend to anyone to book their wedding here. Great experience.

Now that we have returned from Honeymoon (and decompressed following all of the wedding madness!!) I just wanted to express our sincere thanks to Stephen and the team in the Galway Bay Hotel for hosting us and our guests on what was truly fantastic wedding day. We honestly can’t say enough about the level of organisation, engagement and customer service across the board. Everyone made us feel special throughout the weekend and nothing was too much trouble for you. Sitting back and looking at everything, planning a wedding is like one big long journey and we are very thankful that we had your help and support from beginning to end. I genuinely can’t express how much easier the process is made for a couple when the wedding manager is as thorough and as diligent as Stephen. Every time we contacted him, be it to request something new, make a change to a table plan or just made a general query, he was always available and willing to help. Both of us would agree that he is a wonderful ambassador for the hotel and the day wouldn’t have been nearly as smooth and stress free without him!! Every single one of our guests were full of praise for the hotel, the staff and the setup for the ceremony (someone was looking out for us with that weather!!).
